Human Resources Generalist (North Ridgeville)

Human Resources Generalist (North Ridgeville)

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a Human Resource Generalist for our North Ridgeville plant. The Human Resource Generalist will provide support for day-to-day operations such as colleague relations, recruiting, on-boarding and assimilating colleagues into the organization, benefits and leave administration, and payroll. The typical work week for this position is day shift, Monday through Friday and will work at the North Ridgeville facility. Prior experience with UltiPro is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Talent Manager.
  • Support colleagues as an outlet for concerns and issues; effectively addressing cultural misalignments and alleviating misunderstandings.
  • Provide support on HR related improvement projects.
  • Ensures new hire and termination paperwork is processed and accurate within our system of record (UltiPro) and maintain proper colleague files in accordance with policy and law.
  • Organize and facilitate completion of colleague performance reviews.
  • Support production team with daily personnel reporting.
  • Manages and distributes staffing reports
  • Assists in company events such as picnics, fishing derby, Christmas luncheon etc.

The Human Resource Generalist role also includes objectives & goals including, but not limited to:

  • Enrich colleagues’ lives by cultivating relationships built on trust, resolving issues promptly, communicating effectively, identifying new ideas for improving the work environment (morale builders), organizing team building activities, and promoting a fun and caring atmosphere.

Stamping Plant Supervisor (North Ridgeville)

Stamping Plant Supervisor (North Ridgeville)

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a Day Shift Stamping Plant Supervisor for our North Ridgeville plant. This Supervisor will Build a high-performance team of colleagues capable of self-directing their work activities to safely and consistently produce quality parts at specified target rates. The typical work week for this position is Monday through Friday and will work at the North Ridgeville facility. Prior plant supervisory experience is required!

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Ensure our colleagues safely produce quality parts to predetermined target rates.
  • Ensure our colleagues have all the items necessary to achieve and exceed production goals (e.g. process sheets, training, materials, SOPs, tools, etc.).
  • Encourage our colleagues to achieve Excellence through coaching, encouraging, discipline, counseling, and development.
  • Help to define root causes and quickly bring in all necessary partners to resolve problems.
  • Complete the build schedule to meet customer demand.
  • Assign colleagues to production equipment to maximize production and meet the build schedule.
  • Monitor daily and weekly data to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data (e.g. time reporting, QAD).
  • Develop and implement process for effectively ordering steel coils and steel sheet material to maintain appropriate inventory levels to fit business needs.
  • Responsible for overall cost structure of the stamping department
  • Work closely with product teams to provide production support for new products and smooth transition to full production.
  • Work with our steel suppliers and communicate information to address business needs
  • Work closely with maintenance, toolroom and other support groups.
  • Abilities Required:

  • Leverage’s technology to optimize the number of operators needed to run the plant.

Bender Technician Lead (North Ridgeville)

Bender Technician Lead (North Ridgeville)

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a Bender Tech/Lead for our North Ridgeville & Strongsville facilities. The Bender Tech is a hands-on position that requires mechanical abilities and bending software experience, Premiere, Bend Pro, and SMT. The typical work week for this position is day shift and will work/travel between tour North Ridgeville & Strongsville facilities. (Mileage compensation will be provided) Occasional availability for 2nd shift training/trouble shooting may be required.

Key Abilities Required:

  • The Bender Tech needs to know all of our bender equipment which also includes dimplers, saws, and test equipment. BTS will provide a training on the listed “included” equipment, if needed.
  • Understands Bending Theory.
  • Understands Bend Tooling and Bend Tooling Setups.
  • Capable of leading changeover activities.
  • Able to read prints, perform quality checks and 1st piece inspections
  • Knows how to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and make technical recommendations.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory for equipment & tooling.
  • Communicates and coordinates with all Teams associated with benders.
  • Works closely with engineers on new product development and sample activities.
  • Works with supervisors on job alignment through scheduling.
  • Works with Maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Works with Toolroom to ensure tooling is repaired & spares are manufactured when needed.

Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics, is a plus

Minimum of 4 – 5 years of bender experience

QAD Systems Administrator (North Ridgeville)

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a (Mid Career) QAD Systems Administrator for our North Ridgeville plant. The typical work week for this position is day shift, Monday through Friday. Prior QAD experience is required & must be shown on your resume.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Chief Financial Officer.
  • Oversight and support for all tickets opened with QAD.
  • Make sure that Beckett Thermal Solutions QAD is up to date with patches and updates.
  • Provide knowledge and support for projects for that have a QAD component.
  • Documentation of new procedures in respects to QAD. Also revising procedures when changes are made.
  • Support helpdesk tickets in matters that concern QAD.
  • Provide new user training for hires, and advanced training when necessary.
  • Research, test, troubleshoot, and validate new processes in respects to QAD.
  • Create and modify browses to best fit business and user needs.
  • Maintain and update Cash Flow Forecast.
  • Contributes to improvement.


  • Overall Knowledge of QAD Systems; NetUI and Putty interfaces.
  • General Project Management.
  • Troubleshooting QAD Issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement (CI) activities based on lean principles.
  • Ensure the data integrity in QAD.
  • Guide the business towards more efficient processes in QAD.
  • Move processes towards QAD best practices.
  • Provide users with better understanding of the process that they use in their roles.
