Beckett Commercial Solutions Acquires Anesi Technology, Adding Ultra-Efficient Thermal Heat Pump to Growing Portfolio

Anesi’s thermally-driven gas absorption heat pumps cut fuel consumption up to 50% while using existing gas service — expanding the BCS portfolio of high-efficiency commercial and industrial thermal technologies.

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — July 23, 2026 — Beckett Commercial Solutions (BCS) today announced it has purchased all assets and intellectual property previously owned and developed by Stone Mountain Technologies, Inc. (SMTI). The technology, marketed under the Anesi brand, becomes the second brand to join BCS following the acquisition of Marsden, Inc. Anesi operations will be supported by the BCS’  manufacturing and engineering hub in Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Anesi’s technology is built around efficiency. Its thermally-driven, absorption cycle uses no mechanical compressor and fewer moving parts, allowing the system to consume up to 50% less gas while delivering the same comfort and capacity as conventional heating equipment. Because the heat pump captures heat from the outdoor air, it delivers the lowest cost of delivered heat compared with traditional furnaces, water heaters, boilers or electric heat pumps, and it continues to operate in temperatures as low as –40°F (–40°C) without any backup.

The system runs on a customer’s existing natural gas, propane, or other gas fuel source and standard 120V / 15A circuits, with all combustion and refrigerant kept outdoors. Anesi uses a natural refrigerant with zero global warming potential, no ozone depletion properties and no PFAS, so customers reduce fuel use and carbon emissions from the moment the system is installed, without causing other environmental concerns

“Anesi is a natural fit for what we are building at BCS,” said Christina Carter, President of Beckett Commercial Solutions. “It pairs a genuinely differentiated efficiency story with a proven engineering team, and it gives our customers a path to lower fuel costs and lower emissions without replacing the infrastructure they already have.”

“The ammonia‑water absorption cycle is a real breakthrough — high efficiency, no compressor, and reliable operation down to –40°F,” said Mike Garrabrant, founder of SMTI and BCS General Manager & CTO of BCS. “It is exactly the kind of durable, high‑performance technology we want anchoring the BCS platform.”

“I am excited to bring Beckett engineering capabilities – and our commitment – to customers already using or interested in these technologies,” said Morrison Carter, CEO of the Beckett Thermal Solutions group of companies.
